FALL KICK-OFF WEEKEND

The Best Weekend of the Year!

On the weekend of September 10-11, 2022, our parish will celebrate our annual “Kick-Off” weekend. Kick-Off is meant to be just that: a celebration of a new year. We’ve found that most families, especially if kids are involved, plan their year from September. So, we go out of our way to make this weekend (the weekend after Labor Day) a special one. (Raindate - September 17-18, 2022.)

This year, there is a lot to celebrate. We’ll be starting a new season: new music, new message series, new faith life programs and new small group opportunities.

Food & Fun
You may have heard the buzz. It’s true: After each Mass, we will be serving fun treats!   Bring your family to church and grab some food  after– it’s that easy.

And That’s Not All!
On both days we’ll celebrate Kick-Off with information tables outside the church where you can learn more about our Minstry programs and just hang out and meet other members of our parish family.

And There’s Even More!
We’ll be introducing our parish plan for the coming year. You’ll hear more about our Parish Vision, Mission and Pastoral Priorities for the year ahead

So join us for the biggest weekend of the year! See you there!

Bring a friend to Mass and to our Open House!

Our Open House is also scheduled during the Kick-off weekend.  We will be reaching out to those in our area and inviting them to come learn what we are all about! Let’s welcome our guests with OPEN ARMS and extend the love of Christ to all who join us at the OPEN HOUSE this weekend and in the weeks ahead.

NEW HOMILY SERIES AND
SMALL GROUPS KICK-OFF

MOVINGFORWARDLOGO.

There are times in our lives when we realize, normal isn’t working. We seem to be just treading water, overwhelmed or struggling to find meaning in those activities and relationships that have always been lifegiving to us. Even the life of faith seems to be ‘meh’. We are experiencing a spiritual dryness that infects all aspects of our lives.

Think of your computer. If you have too many programs and processes running, it will slow everything down. Programs begin crashing. The solution? Reboot the computer. So to in the spiritual life. We need to spiritually reboot at times. We need to step back, refocus and refresh ourselves.

This series will reflect on what is needed for such a spiritual reboot. What is it in our everyday lives that we can adjust, tweak or change that will allow such a reboot to happen?

Small Group sessions follow-up and go deeper on the STEPS introduced in the homily series. Learn more about St Mary’s Small Groups here.

NEW FAITH LIFE OPPORTUNITIES
FOR YOUNG AND OLD

All our amazing programs for kids, teens and adults will be back for Kick-Off weekend.

VISIT THE WELCOME CENTER

This year, we are stepping up our hospitality game by introducing the Welcome Center and Info Center . The Welcome Center is designed expressly for first-time visitors who want to learn more about St Mary’s or for our current members who are seeking information or would like to schedule a Mass intention or conduct other business while on the parish grounds (all while just going to Mass). Feel free to ask questions and seek assistance. Our Welcome Center ministers, will also be able to provide detailed information about our programs,

The Welcome Center is located in the former Family Room on the ramp side of the church. The Info Center is located in the main lobby of the church.
