Lifeline Youth Ministry~ High School

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Lifeline is St. Mary’s newest youth ministry program for both Middle School and High School teens. This new ministry combines the best of our previous Life Teen and Edge program and other best practices of successful youth ministry programs in Catholic Parishes.   The relational model that Christ used during His earthly ministry will continue to be the heart of everything we do in Lifeline.    The focus of the new ministry will be discipleship, not only passing on the faith but putting it in to action.  In the past two decades, Life Teen has grown into one of the most prolific Catholic youth ministry programs in the world.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday:

 Lifeline Mass

The central part of Lifeline is Mass. As the Eucharist is the source and summit of our lives, the Mass is at the center – and is the most important element of Lifeline. Teens and their families are encouraged to attend any Mass that best fits their schedule.  The Mass Schedule at St. Mary’s is Saturday 4pm, Sunday 8am, 10am, and 11am.   One of our goals at Lifeline is to ensure that teens and their families have a better understanding of the Holy Mass.  Various methods will be used to enhance the Mass experience and give teens a better understanding of why Mass is important how it can

Life Nights

At Life Nights, we go deeper into our faith, and discuss how the teachings of Jesus apply to our life.  The focus of Life Nights is to integrate our faith with our experiences.   Life Nights cover catechetical, social and issue related nights that are 100% Catholic and comprehensive.  There are four main segments of a Life Night derived from the mass; Gather, Proclaim, Break, and Send.  Every Life Night is different. There is always snacks, laughter and great people! Typically, the night includes a skit or game, a talk, small group discussion, and prayer. It’s fun to learn about your faith with your friends.

Our hope is that every Life Night is not just fun, but also challenges you to go deeper in your relationship with God and to know more about your Catholic faith.

~2015-2016 Theme: Consumed by Grace ~

The theme for was inspired by Pope Francis’ announcement of the Year of Mercy , which begins on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception and will end November 20, 2016.

Merciful like the Father … is the “motto” of this Holy Year. In mercy, we find proof of how God loves us… Day after day, touched by His compassion, we also can become compassionate towards others.”

Let us all encounter Christ’s mercy and grace and be merciful to everyone just like the father.  Know of our prayers for you and all the parish during the retreat and this most Holy Year of Mercy!
