Opportunities to Make a Difference

Social Concerns Ministry

  • Please grab a Christmas Tag from the Church before or after Mass to help make Christmas Brighter for a young person in the community.

Show Box Ministry

  • We will once again be collecting shoe boxes filled with card games, shower shoes, socks, crackers, shaving cream, razors, toiletries, hats, gloves and scarves to be handed out to those who are homeless and in local shelter .  Return by December 15th to the Parish Center.

Horizon Children

  • Volunteer with Horizons for Homeless Children to play for 2 hours a week with young children living in shelters. Critical need in Bourne, Falmouth, Hyannis, Middleboro & Fall River. Sister Rose House

  • Winter is coming and the Shelter at Sister Rose House will soon activate the Extreme Weather Overflow Shelter. The overflow opens when temperatures drop below 28 degrees. Volunters can sign up alone or sign up as a team of co-workers, church group, families,
    friends, youth groups with an adult leader. Many hands needed. Hours between 3:00pm – 10:00pm. Time depends on job volunteering for. Please contact Robin Muise at 774-553-5490 muiserobin@comcast.net
