“A Welcoming Catholic Community promoting our faith, sharing our gifts, and serving all, in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Welcome to Saint Mary Parish! As the pastor, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our parish website. The parish of Saint Mary’s is a vibrant community of faith that seeks to know Jesus by bearing witness to his presence in the world and participating in the Mission to spread the Gospel, the Good News. That is our baptismal call and sharing it should bring us immense hope and joy.

There are many “ministries” and ways that our parishioners can give and receive. It is my sincere hope that as you get to know the community, you will be moved by the Spirit to find a way to “fit in” and make yourself at home. If you are new to Saint Mary’s and would like to register as a new parishioner, please click “registration” to fill out the form or to print a registration form that you can mail in, we will respond in writing. You can also pick up a registration form at the main entrance of the church should you wish to register in that fashion.

If there is any way that I might assist you or if you have any questions or concerns, I would encourage you to seek me out or any member of the parish staff. I am only a phone call or an “email” away and serving the needs of this portion of God’s Vineyard brings me great joy.

Hosted by St. Mary’s Ladies Guild October 14, 2017 – 9:00AM – 4:00PM Come one, come all! Get a jump start on your holiday shopping. Over 50 craft vendors, food, raffle, pumpkins, mums, book sale, children’s grab bags, and a little something for everyone. All proceeds to support the Msgr. Arthur G. Considine Scholarship Fund. Social Concerns Diaper Drive

A Diaper Drive to help babies in need in our New Bedford Community will run from Sept. 23rd – Oct. 29th. Diapers and monetary donations will go to support the efforts of Diapers “n” Things, an all volunteer organization that helps families with children who are in need of diapers and clothing. Diaper sizes 4, 5 and 6 (toddler sizes) are in great need, but any and all sizes are appreciated. Diapers may be left in the Family room. Monetary donations may be placed through the door slot which is located in the foyer on the Sacristy door (Dartmouth Street side). Checks should be made out to St. Mary’s Parish – Social Concerns. B.J’s and manufacturer diaper coupons can be place in the container in the Family room.
