“A Welcoming Catholic Community promoting our faith, sharing our gifts, and serving all, in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Welcome to Saint Mary Parish! As the pastor, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our parish website. The parish of Saint Mary’s is a vibrant community of faith that seeks to know Jesus by bearing witness to his presence in the world and participating in the Mission to spread the Gospel, the Good News. That is our baptismal call and sharing it should bring us immense hope and joy.

There are many “ministries” and ways that our parishioners can give and receive. It is my sincere hope that as you get to know the community, you will be moved by the Spirit to find a way to “fit in” and make yourself at home. If you are new to Saint Mary’s and would like to register as a new parishioner, please click “registration” to fill out the form or to print a registration form that you can mail in, we will respond in writing. You can also pick up a registration form at the main entrance of the church should you wish to register in that fashion.

If there is any way that I might assist you or if you have any questions or concerns, I would encourage you to seek me out or any member of the parish staff. I am only a phone call or an “email” away and serving the needs of this portion of God’s Vineyard brings me great joy.

Eternal God,

stir our minds and stimulate our hearts
with a high sense of patriotism on this
Fourth of July.

May all that this day symbolizes
renew our faith in freedom,
our devotion to democracy,
and redouble our efforts to keep a
government of the people, by the people,
and for the people truly alive in our world.

Grant that we may highly resolve
on this great day to dedicate ourselves
anew to the task of ushering in an era when
good will shall live in the hearts
of a free people, justice shall be
the light to guide their feet,
and peace shall be the goal of humankind:
to the glory of your holy name and
the good of our Nation and of all mankind.

 Happy Independence Day!

Pope Francis has declared this year the Year of Mercy. This means that it’s the perfect time to join us on a life-changing journey through Dynamic Catholic’s free Summer of Mercy email program, based on the bestselling book Beautiful Mercy. Many parishioners took home a copy of Beautiful Mercy this past Lent as part of the St. Mary Catholic Church book series, and many have commented on how they not only enjoyed reading the book but also sharing it with others.

So, why not continue living in, and sharing God’s love and mercy!

Beginning Sunday, June 19, you will receive three emails per week for seven weeks. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, emails will have a 1-2 minute video from Matthew Kelly and other leading Catholic voices of our time. You’ll also find an excerpt directly from Beautiful Mercy. These simple yet powerful messages will help you experience God’s unconditional love so you can share it with others. A short email on Sundays will recap the week making it easy to view and you will be able to view and read any videos and reflections that you missed.

By signing up you can also order 1 Free Copy of Beautiful Mercy right on the Dynamic Catholic Homepage.

2016 Catholic Charities

Thank you! That is all I have to say. We have surpassed the donation that our parish donated to the Bishop’s Catholic Charities Appeal. We actually exceeded last years total by over a $1,000. Thank you, each and every parishioner who has ensured that the Corporal Works of Mercy will be a reality here in the Diocese of Fall River.

From your grateful pastor and friend,

Father Rodney
