“A Welcoming Catholic Community promoting our faith, sharing our gifts, and serving all, in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Welcome to Saint Mary Parish! As the pastor, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our parish website. The parish of Saint Mary’s is a vibrant community of faith that seeks to know Jesus by bearing witness to his presence in the world and participating in the Mission to spread the Gospel, the Good News. That is our baptismal call and sharing it should bring us immense hope and joy.

There are many “ministries” and ways that our parishioners can give and receive. It is my sincere hope that as you get to know the community, you will be moved by the Spirit to find a way to “fit in” and make yourself at home. If you are new to Saint Mary’s and would like to register as a new parishioner, please click “registration” to fill out the form or to print a registration form that you can mail in, we will respond in writing. You can also pick up a registration form at the main entrance of the church should you wish to register in that fashion.

If there is any way that I might assist you or if you have any questions or concerns, I would encourage you to seek me out or any member of the parish staff. I am only a phone call or an “email” away and serving the needs of this portion of God’s Vineyard brings me great joy.

The Year of Mercy

IMG_0037 (1)

In this Holy year of Mercy, Pope Francis encourages us to open our hearts to our brothers and sisters who are suffering by answering God’s call to know and serve people in need in loving and compassionate ways.

What a beautiful challenge this is for us all!

For the next several months St. Mary’s Youth Ministry and
the Parish will be dedicating a month to each of the 7
Corporal Works of Mercy.

Social Concerns Diaper Drive

Diapers ‘N Things

A Diaper Drive to help babies in need in our
New Bedford Community will run from Sept 24-Oct 30
Diapers and monetary donations will go to support the
efforts of Diapers ‘N Things, an all-volunteer
organization that helps families with children who are
need of diapes and clothing.

Diaper sizes 4, 5 and 6 (toddler sizes) are in great

need, but any and all sizes are appreciated. Diapers
may be left in the crib in the cry room. Monetary
donations may be placed through the door slot which
is located in the hallway on the ramp side of the
church. Checks should be made out to:
St. Mary’s Parish -Social Concerns.

B.J.’s and manufacturer diaper coupons can be placed
in the container in the crib. Social Concerns Ministry
thanks you for your concern, compassion, generosity
and continued support in our Parish’s community
outreach to help those in need.

Our prayer team is committed to pray for you.
